Hassan Warda is an accomplished hotelier with more than 35 years of distinguished experience in the hospitality industry, specializing in hotel operations, pre-openings, and food & beverage. Currently, as General Manager of Courtyard by Marriott Makkah, Hassan led the highly successful pre-opening and official launch of the property in August 2024, setting new benchmarks for operational excellence right from day one.
Previously, Hassan served as Resident Manager at Jabal Omar Marriott Makkah, where he was instrumental in achieving record-breaking results in revenue, guest satisfaction, and loyalty program enrollments. His expertise and strategic mindset shone even brighter during his tenure as Area Director of Operations for Marriott International in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, where he oversaw a diverse portfolio of 38 hotels and supported the pre-opening of 31 additional properties. Under Hassan’s leadership, these hotels consistently delivered outstanding performance across all key metrics, reinforcing his reputation for operational discipline and innovative business strategies.
Throughout his career, Hassan has been at the helm of opening several prestigious Marriott properties in Saudi Arabia, including the Ritz-Carlton Jeddah, Ritz-Carlton Riyadh, and multiple hotels under the broader Marriott brand. His influence extends beyond the Middle East with impactful international task force assignments in Paris and Singapore, where he contributed to successful hotel launches and global best practices.
