Ramy Khamis is a seasoned hospitality professional with over 19 years of experience across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and now Malaysia — including more than 14 years with The Ritz-Carlton ultra-luxury brand. Currently serving as a highly accomplished and performance-oriented Resort Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi, Ramy brings deep expertise in luxury hotel operations, innovative leadership, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Graduating with honors from Helwan University’s Hotel Management program in Egypt, he began his career as a Front Office Agent in Cairo. Ramy steadily rose through the ranks at prestigious hotels, including The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh, where he served as Night Manager and later Assistant Director of Rooms. His pivotal moment came in 2017, when he was appointed Director of Rooms at The Ritz-Carlton, Ras Al Khaimah, overseeing the successful rebranding and opening of the Al Wadi Desert Resort.

At Langkawi, Ramy leads a talented team in upholding the resort’s reputation for personalized luxury and impeccable service. Under his leadership, the resort has garnered multiple prestigious awards and widespread acclaim. His expertise spans strategic planning, financial management, guest engagement, talent development, and brand positioning. Recognized for his competitive mindset and operational precision, he consistently drives performance through innovative initiatives, cross-departmental collaboration, and an unwavering focus on service excellence.

Ramy also played a key role as Support Chair and Council Member for the Marriott Business Council in the UAE, and proudly holds a Certificate of Appreciation from the White House following a presidential visit to Riyadh. Recently, he completed a Luxury Executive Development Program with Marriott International, where he was highly recognized for his outstanding participation.
