Vito Francesco Spalluto is a distinguished hospitality professional with over two decades of extensive experience in leading luxury hotels and resorts. Currently serving as Managing Director of 7Pines Resort Sardinia part of Destination by Hyatt, located just steps from the beautiful Costa Smeralda Vito has played a pivotal role in establishing the resort as a benchmark of excellence in luxury hospitality. Under his leadership, 7Pines has garnered prestigious accolades, including ranking 13th among Europe’s best hotels and resorts, as recognized by Condé Nast Traveller. For two consecutive years, the resort has also received the “Recommended” certificate from Forbes Travel Guide and notably became the first resort in Italy to earn Forbes Travel Guide’s sustainability certification.

Vito’s hospitality journey has included key leadership roles across acclaimed luxury properties in Italy. He was General Manager of L’Andana – Tenuta La Badiola in Castiglione della Pescaia, Resort Manager at Sciacca for Rocco Forte Hotels, and Business Development Director at Borgo Egnazia, where he oversaw multiple operational areas including food and beverage management, revenue management, sales strategy, and financial control.

Before taking the helm at 7Pines Resort, Vito also gained valuable experience as General Manager at Demidoff Country Resort & Fattoria San Lorenzo near Florence, successfully reopening the hotel post-refurbishment and driving notable growth in leisure and MICE business. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated expertise in repositioning properties, managing new openings, and spearheading commercial and reputation launches.

Vito holds advanced certifications in hospitality revenue management and marketing from Cornell University, underscoring his commitment to data-driven strategy and operational excellence. His leadership embraces a holistic approach balancing financial performance, guest satisfaction, sustainability, and service quality to deliver unforgettable luxury experiences.
