With more than 25 years of international hospitality experience spanning hotel operations, sales and marketing, development strategy, asset management, and hospitality investment, Narej brings a commercially driven leadership approach shaped through senior roles with globally recognized luxury hotel brands.
A Career Built Across Global Hospitality Brands
Over the course of his career, Narej has worked with some of the world’s leading five-star hospitality groups, including Marriott International, Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts, and Cinnamon Hotels.
His expertise spans multiple dimensions of the hospitality industry, including:
- Hotel development and asset optimization
- Strategic sales and marketing leadership

- Design, development, and feasibility planning
Before relocating to Australia, Narej served as Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts, where he played a critical role in strengthening brand presence across the Middle East and Asia.
Leading Development at Amora Hotels & Resorts
Narej joined Amora Hotels & Resorts in 2023 as Group Director of Business Development and Asset Management. During his tenure, he contributed significantly to the group’s development ambitions, helping shape strategic acquisitions and redevelopment initiatives that strengthened the company’s market presence.
His appointment as Chief Development Officer reflects the organization’s confidence in his ability to accelerate growth, strengthen investment strategy, and expand Amora’s hospitality footprint across key international markets.
Among the notable milestones associated with his leadership involvement are the acquisition of the iconic Adelaide Hilton and the redevelopment and rebranding of Amora Herencia Riverwalk in Melbourne.

In addition to executive hotel leadership, Narej spent over a decade as Chief Executive Officer of Ausasia Holdings Pty Ltd, where he specialized in hotel development consultancy and hospitality investment projects.
Throughout this period, he advised on more than 20 hotels and resorts across Asia and Australia, bringing together investors, hotel operators, and property owners to conceptualize and execute commercially successful hospitality developments.
