Born and educated in Tunisia, and later continuing his studies in the United States, Houssem began his career with a deep respect for old-school hospitality built on hard work, genuine passion, and close attention to every guest interaction. After graduating from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, he gained hands-on experience at world renowned properties from Las Vegas to Hawaii, ultimately taking on senior leadership roles at Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, where he played a key role in the pre-opening and helped the hotel achieve and sustain its prestigious Forbes Five Star rating.
At Regent Santa Monica Beach, Houssem leads day-to-day strategy and operations while collaborating with visionary owners and global hotel and brand mentors to strengthen the hotel’s and brand’s position among California’s premier luxury destinations. Known for his passionate, hands-on approach, he focuses on building a culture of excellence where every detail reflects Regent’s timeless sophistication and California’s relaxed elegance.
Fluent in multiple languages and passionate about lifelong learning, Houssem believes great hospitality always begins and ends with people.
