From the sun-drenched shores of Rottnest Island to London, Singapore, and Southeast Asia’s most competitive MICE markets, Andrew has consistently delivered revenue growth, operational excellence, and brand repositioning within luxury and upper-upscale hospitality.

Currently serving as General Manager of Millennium Hotels & Resorts’ flagship Grand Copthorne Waterfront Singapore (GCW), Andrew leads a 573-room property featuring four destination dining venues and 67,000 square feet of conference and event space. He oversees all facets of multi-million-dollar operations, including revenue strategy, asset enhancement, engineering modernisation, and brand positioning.
Under his leadership, GCW completed a S$40 million transformation in July 2023, delivering immediate and sustained commercial impact. Room revenue increased by 10%, catering revenue surged 85%, and total revenue rose 23% year-on-year with GOP margins approaching 50%—the highest performance across the Singapore portfolio. In 2025 alone, Andrew led GCW to achieve an exceptional 47 industry awards, reinforcing the hotel’s position as one of Singapore’s most recognised and consistently awarded hospitality assets.

His commitment to innovation and sustainability is equally evident. Previously, Andrew held multiple General Manager appointments within Millennium & Copthorne Hotels, managing some of the Group’s most commercially significant assets. As General Manager of Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington, he held full P&L accountability , representing 24% of the total London portfolio, overseeing sales strategy, yield management, key account acquisition, and capital projects. He secured 41 Global Accounts and seven Embassy Accounts, generated incremental revenue through aircrew and convention business, reduced housekeeping costs by £200K year-on-year, and achieved the hotel’s first Investor in People Bronze Award and ISO 9001 certification.

In Singapore, as General Manager of Orchard Hotel (2011–2014), Andrew led a workforce of 460 employees, with full operational and financial . He steered strategic compliance, safety, and governance initiatives across six audits and 158 corrective actions, delivered capital upgrades including ballroom, function space, and lift modernization, renewed the Lufthansa aircrew contract at the highest crew rate in market, and expanded global account production from 55 to 120 accounts in under three years—while securing three first-in-class HR milestones for the Group.
Earlier in his career, Andrew simultaneously oversaw Millennium Gloucester London Kensington and The Bailey’s Hotel. He delivered standout commercial results across both assets, lifting RevPAR, exceeding budgeted GOP, and achieving near-perfect incremental flow-through. His £200K rebranding of The Bailey’s Restaurant generated incremental revenue, achieved an AA Rosette within its first year, and delivered full ROI within 12 months, while mentoring two senior leaders who progressed to General Manager roles.
Andrew’s commercial foundation was forged as Director of Sales & Marketing for Millennium Gloucester and Millennium Bailey’s Hotels, where he led teams to generate £26.7 million in combined room and conference revenue, strengthened airline, embassy, corporate, and MICE portfolios, and aligned regional sales strategies across Europe, the US, and Asia.
